the reason for blogs

Hello, my name is Afton and I am an internet stalker. i have come to except this about myself and no longer feel ashamed. there is currently no cure and no end in sight. new profiles of friends of friends of friends are being added daily in an assortment of websites and i will find them one page at a time. if you have a myspace, facebook, or blogger profile chances are that i have seen it, read it, and now feel like i know you personally. in my defense i do have a job that requires me to sit in front of a computer for many hours. this supplies me with ample browsing time which i'm quite positive could be used on more productive things (like actually working perhaps) and yet i'm sure nothing productive would be as amusing. why do i find reading about people's lives that i don't know amusing? well i don't know i just do. its like reading an incredible book that never ends! (okay that my be a bit of a stretch) but its wonderful finding new witty posts everyday to fill in the mundane time of life and work. so i say to all of my fellow friends and stalkers...welcome to my life! i hope you enjoy...

There's nothing like losing track of time reading about people that were total strangers to you only fifteen minutes earlier! I'll admit I've done it once or twice.
